Wolfenstein: The New Order is an action-adventure shooter that reignites the franchise widely recognised for pioneering the genre. Wolfenstein: The New Order is scheduled for release in Q4 2013 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and next generation consoles.

Sydney, Australia – May 8, 2013 – Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax® Media company, has announced a new title, Wolfenstein®: The New OrderTM, an action-adventure shooter slated for release in Q4 2013.  The game is being developed by MachineGamesTM, a studio comprised of seasoned developers known for creating compelling, critically-acclaimed story-driven games. Wolfenstein has been widely credited for helping establish and popularize the first-person shooter genre, and Wolfenstein: The New Order is a reimagining of this franchise – offering players a gripping and dramatic experience.

Sniper 2 DLC, Siberian Strike

Hot on the heels of last week’s release comes the Siberian Strike campaign, you might wonder if a day after Bioshock  releases of the year is a good thing, but lets go with it.

What does excite me about this new campaign is that the focus is more on freedom and allowing you to move around tackling the mission as you see fit. As I have been playing through the game (review incoming) one of my biggest concerns was the ‘shooting gallery’ effect, this looks like it will address it and deliver a more rounded experience.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 – gone gold

The year is certainly starting to warm up for new releases, one on my radar for March is Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. With some sharp looking graphics and the potential to have ironed out the kinks from the first game, this offering could be just the ticket for all those lone wolf wookies that haunt the FPS arenas.

November 2012 Retrospective

Crazy days, something has to be done about the Industry and its obsession with pumping out Triple-A titles all the way through October and November. Looking back at the latest additions to my pile of shame I know that over half of them are yet to be written about, half of them again deserve to be written about, while a couple of them actually need to be played in the first place.
