Redfall Review (XSX)

Redfall, Massachusetts. A lovely island town with great amenities and plenty for locals and tourists alike.

Unfortunately a legion of vampires have also taken a fancy to Redfall as well. Isolating the community and blocking out the sun, our resident fang-faces are having their way with the human population.

Wanted: Dead Review (XSX)

Right off the bat Wanted: Dead from Soleil Game Studios had my attention. The one reason was two words. Single Player. No online, no multiplayer, no invasions.

Wanted: Dead rings back to the likes of Shadow Warrior and  Serious Sam where there is plenty of fun to be had without getting too serious (sorry Sam). Wanted: Dead also also manages to include some little mini games and collectables on the side.

It is a nice well rounded title with good presentation.

Bayonetta and Vanquish Review (Xbox One X)

I like this idea, I like it a lot. There are plenty of remasters/re-releases coming out these days, and rightly so. There are more than a few games that NEED to be seen by people new to the gaming scene.

Yes, many will seek out past gems and try them out. But a lo-fi game in a hi-fi world won’t get the same response as it did a decade ago. Making a few tweaks to the visuals is the way to go. Especially to grab the attention of the younger generation. And that is exactly what PlatinumGames have done to their two classics, Bayonetta and Vanquish.
