WWE 2K20 – Leukaemia & Lymphoma Society Partnership

Announced today, 2K who have a busy schedule already with Borderlands 3 about to burst into our hands, have partnered up WWE 2K20 with The Leukaemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). With cover star Roman Reigns as its figurehead the campaign is set to drive donations for the LLS through September and October. Reigns himself is a second time survivor of Leukaemia.

Having survived Stage 4 Lymphoma myself back in 2005. This is a subject close to all sorts of avenues in my body. There isn’t a day goes by that I don’t think about what might have been or worry about what tomorrow might bring.

Getting through times like this makes you stronger and on a day like #RUOK day, this media alert was a bright shining light.

Obviously, I’m no mega media star like Roman Reigns, so the official line is much more interesting than my ramblings.

Utilising leverage of its huge social media presence 2K will be urging followers to retweet the message. Each successful retweet will earn $2 for the LLS. With a ceiling of $500,000 the potential for this donation to boost research, awareness and education. At absolutely no cost to the consumer. Get out there, stop whining about inconsequential things on Twitter and retweet something for a good cause.

2k will also be charitably co-ordinating visits to patients with WWE superstars, donating games and generally being likeable.
